Liquid Cooled March pumps:

These legendary pumps have epoxy encapsulated motors through which the pumped water flows in a copper nickel tube which cools the components. The unique seal-less pump end features an orbital magnetic drive on a ceramic shaft with a ceramic thrust washer.

These pumps are explosion proof and can run submerged or in the open air.

Calvert Engineering "CalPump"

Used for decades as a commercial fountain pump, the marine version of this pump is ideal for a wet bilge where moisture and explosive fumes may be a hazard - typically used as a continuous duty marine a/c pump. Always mount this pump with the volute pointing down or to the side as shown to lubricate and cool the shaft. If the discharge barb is positioned as shown, air is more easily purged. Like all centrifugal pumps they are not self priming and must be mounted below the waterline. We suggest using full flow hose barbs so as to not restrict the flow. If you wish to throttle down the flow, never restrict the suction side of a centrifugal pump - this may cause impeller damage. You may restrict the discharge side to reduce flow at will. From 320-1200 GPM in 115 or 230 volt.

Cal-Marine "MS" series: These quality direct drive, centrifugal marine pumps feature a rugged bronze/stainless casing, an easily replaced nylon impeller mounted on a 304 stainless shaft with a hard chrome plate and a double lip viton seal, all inside a heavy duty nylon volute.

GPH (gallons per hour) specifications are at 115 volt & 230 volt 60 Hz - 50 Hz operation has slightly less GPH output (about 18%).
